It has been the practice for many years for Livery Companies to be affiliated to an Army regiment, a Royal Navy ship, etc. The Worshipful Livery Company of Wales follows this tradition with all three services. As at the beginning 2018 those affiliations are:

Wales's Senior Infantry Regiment. Active from 26 February 1915, they are based at Pirbright near London
An Army Reserve Light Infantry Battalion.
Based at Maindy Barracks, Cardiff. The Rayal Welsh have been active from 16 March 1689.
Based at Maindy Barracks, Cardiff, WUOTC is comprised of Young Officers from Universitiesm throughout Wales.
Based on the Isle of Anglesey. Home to No 4 Flying Training School (Fighter Pilots). Active since 1941.
UWAS is comprised of Young Officers from Universities throughout Wales.
